Stained Glass Gallery

Stained Glass is also an art form that I truly enjoy. It was my mother who would always point out the beauty of the sun as it was rising or setting. She had the ability to point out ten different shades of blue in the sky. As children growing up we were surround by art. Her ability to bring a project from step one to its final stage has been engrained in the way that I work.  I have made many stained glass pieces and have also use glass in pieces of furniture as well, the possibilities are endless! Clicking on the picture enlarges it for more detail.

A plant terrarium

The glass in this terrarium was made from the windows that were in the house I was raised in as a child.

Pheasants on a solid cherry frame.

The frame that holds this window is made of cherry with black walnut splines. There are 16 sides to this frame.

Different light styles

Colored and clear glass

There are 32 sides to this oak frame window. It was going to be a lamp shade, but I wanted a different look in one of my bedrooms.

Ducks on Torch Lake.

The yellow glass is laced with gold to give the light a natural hue.
