I have made nine kitchens and worked for years on many home projects as a hobby. On this page I have two different  homes. I will refer to "House # 2" as THE HOUSE THAT I HAVE FOR SALE! and  "House # 1 as the first home I owned when I taught school in Petoskey. What can I say, "I enjoy this stuff" and I always leave a home 300% in better shape then what I found it.

I have spent 10 years clearing out this woods, I thought I would like to add a spot to enjoy relaxing or reading.

I have built three of these gazebos. It takes a lot of time but it is really worth the effort.

House # 2

This is what the house looked like before I added flower boxes and a new porch.

House # 2

On the bottom part of the new porch I added ovel windows to create a warmer feel and a unique style to the house.

House # 2

This is what the inside looked like before I took out the paneling and added a large bay window.

House # 2

This is what the other side of the living room looked like before I moved the wood stove to the other side of the living room and then started to drywall and paint.

House # 2

This is what the living room looked like after I raised the wood stove up on its' own hearth and then added stone to the finish wall.

House # 2

Just another view of the wood stove.

House #1 My first house in Petoskey. This is a picture of the old kitchen cabinets just before I took a wrecking bar to it.

House #1 There was at least 6 coats of paint on these old kitchen cabinets. All the cabinets made around 1930.

House #1 Old kitchen This will be a new sliding glass door. I am ready to place the insulation between the studs. The white stuff is foam insulation

House #1 New Kitchen I wanted to keep a country feel to this new kitchen so I made sure to keep all the edges soft and finish them with a light stain

House #1 New Kitchen

With a small house every inch had to be used for cabinet space. All of these cabinets were built by hand to make sure that every inch of space could be used.

House #1 New Kitchen

To create a "French Country" theme I added beams and finished them with three coats of finish. All the wires run above the ceiling and can easily be reached with no problem the the home owner.
